We offer a group package that is a popular option for many adult groups who wish to enjoy some time at the orchard.   Our group package includes either lunch or a treat in the Tuttle’s Cafe & Sweet Shop, as well as, your choice of a tour or presentation.  Different presentations/tours are available depending on the time of year. 

Our Lunch & Learn Group Package includes:

  • Farm Fresh Lunch in the Tuttle’s Cafe & Sweet Shop.  Includes choice of three or four menu items.  Menu changes seasonally.   Beverage and dessert are included.
  • Choose from one activity for your group from below (availability varies by season):
    • Behind the Scenes Greenhouse Tour (available in April & May):  take a tour of greenhouse with one of our growers and learn about the flowers and plants we grow. (approx 30 min)
    • Behind the Scenes Vegetable Tour:  includes a hayride around the farm with an explanation of our growing techniques and the different crops we grow. (available June, July, August). (approx 30 min)
    • 88 Years of Tuttles:  hear from a member of the Tuttle’s family about the history of the orchard over the past 88 years and a general overview of the farm. (November – August) (approx 20 min)
    • Tuttle’s Produce Secrets:  hear about our favorite tips for choosing the best produce and caring for it once it’s been picked.  Everything from how to tell if a melon is ripe to what in the difference between freestone and cling peaches…everything you need to know to become a produce expert.  (June – August) (20-30 min)indianapolis summer hayride for kids
    • Apples 101 Presentation:  Learn everything you ever wanted to know about apples and then some.  Tuttle’s staff person shares an overview of growing apples, apple varieties, and how to choose the right apple. (November – August) (3o min)
    • Pollination & Bees:  a talk about the importance of bees at the orchard and a chance to see the observation bee hive.  (Sep 15 – Nov 15) (20 min)
  • Lunch group tours require a minimum of 12 people and maximum of 30 people to register.
  • We typically book these groups from 11-1pm Monday-Friday.  Limited availability on Saturdays and during September/October.
  • Cost for tour and lunch is $15.00/person
  • We suggest you allow approx 1 hour and a half for your group to enjoy lunch, activity, and time for browsing the farm store after the tour.

Our Treat & Tour Group Package includes:

  • Farm Fresh Treat in the Tuttle’s Cafe & Sweet Shop.  Participants can choose from one of two seasonal dessert options.  Options vary seasonally based on produce availability.

  • Groups can be scheduled from 2-5pm Monday-Friday.  Limited availability on Saturdays and during fall months.
  • We suggest you allow approx 1 hour for your group to enjoy treat, activity, and time for browsing the farm store after the tour.

Group Policies:

  • Reservations must be made a minimum of one week in advance by calling Helen at 317-498-1009.  
  • Please let us know of any food allergies when you register.  Additional menu options may be available with advance notice.
  • All cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance or a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged.
