Buttered Peas w/Basil

Ingredients:
Sugar Snap or Snow Peas (can use both in the shell and out of the shell peas)
2 – 3 Tbs fresh basil chopped
1/2 stick better melted
salt, pepper, Italian seasoning to taste
 
Instructions:
  1. Mix butter and basil together.
  2. If using peas in shell (for snow peas or baby sugar snap peas), remove the ends of the peas as needed. Steam pea pods over water on the stove or in the microwave until soft but not overcooked.
  3. If using shelled peas (for sugar snap peas that are larger), remove peas from the shell. Steam the peas for only a short time in the microwave or stove top over water. Just until warm.
  4. Pour butter over the top of the peas. Enjoy!
