Caramel Apple Festival {two Saturdays in 2019}

CARAMEL APPLE FESTIVAL

SAT, SEPT. 7 & SAT, SEPT. 14, 2019

This is typically a very busy fun filled day at the orchard.  Please expect a festival environment with crowds.  For this reason, we’ve added a second Saturday this year on Saturday, Sep 14th.

Join us for the kickoff day for fall activities.

Hours:   Events run from 9AM-7PM unless otherwise indicated below.  Build your own caramel apples are ONLY 10AM-5PM.

FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Pick your own Apples in the orchard to take home.  For Sep 14 Varieties: Cortland, Jonathan  Choose from $7, $15, or $25 bag.
  • Tractor Town Adventure Farm Area Open:  $5/child or see info below about Saturday combo pass.
  • Enjoy the Agrimaze, Corn Maze.  $5/person or see combo pass info below.
  • Watch the Bees:  See the honey bees hard at work making honey.
  • Take a hayride: Hop on the hayride and hear about the farm.  9:30AM-6:30PM  $5/person or see info below about Saturday Combo Pass.  Hayrides may close if raining.
  • Caramel Apple Hunt: Search for tickets for free caramel apples hidden around the farm. 10AM-all tickets are found.
  • Visit the Farm Store for Apples and more.  Check out all the fall items in the Farm Store.

TREATS TO EAT:

  • Build your own Caramel Apple: Special for this day only the build your own caramel apple bar.  We dip the apple for you to watch and you choose two gourmet toppings (see topping list below).  $5.55/each  10AM-5PM  (Traditional caramel apples: plain, peanut, sprinkle will be available in the Cafe for $3.70)
  • Tuttle’s Cafe and Sweet Shop:  Caramel apples, apple donuts, apple cider slushies, fudge, and more. Menu below.
  • Tuttle’s Grill: Will be open from 10:30AM-6PM offering hot dogs, bratwurst, pulled pork sandwiches, and more.  Enjoy fresh grilled meats from Indiana farms.  Menu here.
  • All food items are while supplies last.
  • Covered seating is available in our greenhouse areas along with lots of outdoor seating.

Cost:  There is no admission charge for the festival.  There is a separate charge for some activities and food items.  Click on above links for more information about specific activities.   Saturday Combo pass is available for $10 (includes Agrimaze, Tractor Town, and Hayride).  Credit Cards are accepted at all areas of the farm.

Parking:  We have a team of people on hand to assist you with finding a parking spot.  Please note the Farm Store parking lot will be closed this day for safety reasons.  We will have a golf cart shuttle on hand for those needing transportation to the Farm Store, but please know this will be a very busy day at the orchard, and we will be utilizing all of the overflow parking lots.

No pets are permitted due to food safety regulations.  Please leave pets at home.

Weather Note:  This event will be held rain or shine.  Farm Store, Cafe, Build your Own Caramel Apples are located inside.  Grill will be serving food rain or shine.  Covered seating is available in our greenhouse area.  Corn roaster may not run if raining.  Outdoor activities such as u-pick apples will be open in light rain…just bring your rain coats.  Hayrides will not run if raining.   In the event of a threat of lightning, Upick Areas, Tractor Town, Corn Maze, and Hayrides will be closed for your safety until the threat passes.
