Painting with the Plants {Cider & Canvas in the Greenhouse} March 30

Explore your creative side at Tuttle Orchards! Saturday March 30, 2019. Join us for a painting class (or two!) right in our own beautiful greenhouse during the planting season.  Get a behind the scenes look in our greenhouse during planting season before it opens to the public.

Art Instructor Jessica Green will guide participants in delightful plant-inspired painting (see below for class descriptions). Whether you consider yourself an artsy soul or a bit of a nervous newbie, you’ll be sure to have a great time. Class participants will be be treated to Tuttles’ famous apple cider and delicious cookies. Both classes are open to artists ages 12-112 🙂 Invite a friend and make it a fun memory together! Each class is $25 a ticket…or sign up for both and get a $5 gift card towards lunch in the cafe.

Participant can choose from one or both sessions:

Session 1: Simply Succulents

Session 1: Simply Succulents: These adorable little plant paintings have a fresh and modern look. Create three cute and simple succulent paintings that can be displayed as a series or give out as gifts.

9:30-11:00am (1 hr, 30 mins) or 2-3:30pm, Adults (ages 12+): $25/ticket  –  ( We will be using acrylic paint on 4×4″** canvas boards to create a series of 3 paintings )

The morning class is now sold out so an additional class has been added from 2-3:30pm for this painting.

Session 2: Stunning Sunflowers

Session 2: Stunning Sunflowers: Create a vibrant sunflower painting in an impressionistic style! Colorful and bold brushstrokes will give this painting a cheerful vibe. Bright and beautiful! 

12:00-1:30pm (1 hr, 30 mins) Adults (ages 12+): $25/ticket  –  (We will be using acrylic paint on 5×7″** canvas boards.)
